How Do I Use a Digital Wallet in a Store?

  1. Unlock your device (no need to open the app).
  2. Hold the back of your device near a contactless payment terminal.
  3. Your phone will beep or vibrate, and you’ll receive a confirmation on-screen letting you know the payment was made.

Are Digital Wallets Safe?

Yes. When you use Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay, your Navy Federal card number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant.

A unique digital code is created specifically for that device. You still enjoy all the benefits of your Navy Federal credit or debit card, which includes our Zero Liability policy that protects you from confirmed unauthorized transactions.
