Apple Pay

The credit or debit card associated with your iTunes® account or the first card you add to Wallet is your default card. To change your default card:

  1. Go to Settings, Wallet & Apple Pay.
  2. Tap Default Card.
  3. Choose a new card.

Simply delete the old card from Apple Pay and add the new card. To delete the old card, go into "Settings," open "Wallet & Apple Pay," select the card you want to delete and tap "Remove Card." To add your new card, follow the easy step-by-step instructions.

Google Pay

Google Pay uses a graphical representation, not an exact replica of your Navy Federal card. Navy Federal credit and debit cards are color coded like this:

  • Red = consumer debit card
  • Blue = consumer credit card
  • Grey = business debit card
  • Black & green = business credit card

The first card you add to Google Pay will automatically become your default card. To change your default, do the following:

  1. Open Google Pay.
  2. Tap on your preferred card to get the back of card view.
  3. Select Set as default card.

You'll delete your old card from Google Pay and add your new one. To do this, do the following:

  1. Open Google Pay.
  2. Select the card you want to delete to get to the "back of card" view.
  3. Select "Remove card".
  4. To add the new card, simply press the "+" symbol and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Samsung Pay

The card displayed in Samsung Pay won't always exactly match your physical card. The key points to look for are:

  1. the card issuer
  2. the card network

The average amount of time it takes before your card is fully active for use after being added and verified will vary slightly between issuers, but shouldn't take more than a few minutes. If you encounter any issues, please contact your card issuer for assistance. Don't try to enter the same card multiple times.

When paying with Samsung Pay, you'll receive and sign a receipt for your purchases, just as you would with a physical card. You won't receive a separate physical or digital receipt from Samsung Pay.

Returns made through Samsung Pay are handled the same way as with your physical card, according to the store's policies. If you return an item paid for through Samsung Pay, the store may require you to hover your device over either the card reader or the NFC reader to complete the return.

Most transactions made through Samsung Pay are viewable shortly after processing, for one month from the time of purchase. Simply open the app and tap on a card to see all the Samsung Pay transactions made with that card. Additionally, a notification with your transaction details will be sent to your device after each Samsung Pay purchase. Note: notifications require an active internet connection.

You can add up to 10 cards using Samsung Pay. Both credit cards and debit cards can be added.
